Meet The Doctors

Priscilla Songsanand, MD

Dr. Songsanand graduated from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and went on to receive her medical degree from Temple University School of Medicine. Following an internship at Madigan Army Medical Center, she completed an ophthalmology residency at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. She then served as ophthalmologist and chief ophthalmologist at William Beaumont Army Medical Center. During this time, Dr. Songsanand also instructed and evaluated medical students, interns, and residents who rotated on the service. She treated patients at the El Paso Veterans Administration Hospital as well. Dr. Songsanand won many awards for outstanding patient care during her army career. She was a major when she ended her military service to pursue a civilian career.
