  Dr. King is a Cornea-External Ocular Disease and Anterior Segment specialist having completed her fellowship training at the Jules Stein Eye Institute, University of California, Los Angeles. She received her medical degree from Loma Linda University School of Medicine where she was actively involved in the American Medical Association at the local and national level and served on the San Bernardino County Medical Society Board of Directors. She then completed an internship at the University of California, San Francisco School of Medicine. She went on to obtain her ophthalmology residency training at Loma Linda University, School of Medicine where she served as Co-Chief Resident and won awards for excellence in research.
  
  She is currently a Clinical Instructor in Ophthalmology at the Jules Stein Eye Institute, University of California, Los Angeles where she is involved in the training of ophthalmology residents. Dr. King has authored numerous medical journal articles and has been a presenter at national ophthalmology meetings. She is also actively involved in providing eye care in developing nations such as Haiti, where she serves as the Medical Director of the Haiti Mission Outreach Clinic.
