Richmond E. Roeske, MD

Richmond Roeske, M.D., former Assistant Residency Coordinator and current Assistant Clinical Professor at Loma Linda University School of Medicine, joined the Pacific Eye Institute in 2000. Dr. Roeske is an ophthalmologist who specializes in cataract extraction, intraocular lens implantation and LASIK surgery.

After graduating from Southern University in Collegedale, TN, Dr. Roeske then did an internship at Central Texas Medical Foundation in Austin, TX. Dr. Roeske completed his residency at Loma Linda University School of Medicine where he serves as Co-Chief Resident. On completion of his residency, Dr. Roeske joined the staff at Loma Linda University where he served as Assistant Residency Coordinator winning the Earnest S. Zane Award for excellence in teaching in 2002. Dr. Roeske also maintained a busy private practice at Pacific Eye Institute during this time.

Along with surgical skill, Dr. Roeske brings his considerable experience to The Pacific Eye Laser Institute. Dr. Roeske is the author of several investigative, medical and surgical management abstracts published in ARVO and other prestigious professional journals of ophthalmology.

There are 10 surgeons in California who have received the Centurion Award. Less than 10% of LadarVision users nationally have achieved this status.

We are pleased to announce that Richmond Roeske, MD has achieved Alcon's Prestigious Centurion Award. In order to achieve this a surgeon must complete 100 consecutive eyes treated at 20/25 or better. Dr. Roeske was 91% 20/20 or better.
